See You at SuperAI Singapore

This week I'm heading to SuperAI in Singapore 🇸🇬 - one of the most exciting gatherings of AI builders, founders, and ideas shaping the next phase of innovation across Asia and globally. With 7,000 attendees from over 100 countries converging at Marina Bay Sands, this is where the future comes into focus.

Asia's Largest AI Gathering

SuperAI has become Asia's largest AI event, and for good reason. It's not just about the scale - though a sold-out venue speaks volumes. It's about the quality of conversations, the diversity of perspectives, and the sheer concentration of people who are building the next wave of AI innovation.

What excites me most is that SuperAI anchors Singapore AI Week, a festival of 100+ events running from June 16-22. It's an entire ecosystem coming alive - workshops, demos, founder meetups, technical deep-dives. This is how you build a thriving AI community: not just one big stage, but a thousand conversations happening in parallel.

What I'm Looking Forward To

Events like SuperAI are where the future comes into focus. I'm eager to discover emerging trends, commercially practical solutions, and - most importantly - socially impactful innovations.

The next wave of AI agents, tools, and platforms will transform everything around us. But transformation only matters if it's grounded in real problems and real people.

I'm particularly drawn to the spaces where ambition meets execution. Where are teams moving from prototype to product? Which use cases are finding genuine product-market fit? What patterns are emerging in agentic AI architectures that actually work in production?

These aren't abstract questions. They're the ones that determine whether AI delivers on its promise - or just generates more noise.

Where the Real Energy Lives

Some of my favorite moments at any event happen in the margins - connecting with builders and founders who are deep in the work, mentoring teams at hackathons who are wrestling with hard problems in real time.

That's where the energy is. That's where I learn the most.

This year's 36-hour NEXT Hackathon saw four winning teams rapidly build AI platforms for retail, fashion, and medtech. The Genesis Startup Competition drew over 700 applicants, with 10 finalists competing for more than $200,000 in prizes. That level of intensity and creativity? That's what moves the industry forward.

Hackathons reveal something essential: when you give talented people a hard constraint and a real problem, they find ways to ship. They make trade-offs. They learn what actually matters. You can't fake that in a slide deck.

Building the Future, Together

What I love about events like SuperAI is the reminder that we're not building AI in isolation. Every conversation, every demo, every late-night hackathon debug session - they all feed into a larger story about how we want technology to serve humanity.

AI should amplify human judgment, not replace it. It should democratize access to tools and insights, not concentrate power. And it should be built by diverse teams solving diverse problems - because that's the only way we build systems that work for everyone.

These principles aren't just nice-to-haves. They're the foundation of sustainable innovation.
