What happens when OpenClaw meets AWS? Production-ready, secured AI agents. Running 24/7. At scale. 🦞☁️

I'm excited to share that Amazon Web Services is partnering with OpenClaw Singapore to host an exclusive evening for the community. 🇸🇬

The energy around agentic AI in Singapore has been extraordinary. The OpenClaw community here gathered over 1,000 people across events in just two weeks, reflecting the rapid growth of builders eager to move from experimentation to real-world impact.

But beyond the event itself - here's why this partnership matters, and what it takes to bring agentic AI from prototype to production.

What is OpenClaw?

For those just joining the conversation: OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent platform, developed by Austrian engineer Peter Steinberger and launched in November 2025.

It allows users to run AI agents connected to messaging apps like WhatsApp, Discord, or Telegram to perform tasks such as managing emails, browsing the web, and organizing files. Think of it as your personal AI assistant that actually does things - not just answers questions.

The platform is now available on Amazon Lightsail, making it easier than ever to deploy your own autonomous agents in the cloud.

The AWS backbone for production-grade agents

Building an AI agent is one thing. Running it securely, cost-efficiently, and reliably in production is another.

This is where the conversation gets real. Because autonomous agents aren't just clever demos - they're systems that need to earn trust, protect data, and deliver value consistently.

AWS provides the secure, scalable backbone that OpenClaw agents need to go from prototype to production:

🔹 Enterprise-level security - because trust and compliance aren't optional 🔒

🔹 Cost-efficient scaling - from serverless to EC2, pay only for what you use 💰

🔹 Access to diverse foundation models - via Amazon Bedrock, so you can choose the right model for the job 🤖

🔹 Flexible deployment options - launch in minutes, run 24/7, scale globally ⚡

This is what it takes to move agentic AI from experimentation to real-world impact.

Security isn't optional - it's foundational

Here's something every builder needs to hear: autonomous agents are powerful, but they come with real risks if deployed without appropriate safeguards.

Singapore's Cyber Security Agency (CSA) issued an advisory warning that autonomous AI agents, including OpenClaw, can pose serious cybersecurity risks - including unpatched vulnerabilities, weak access controls, sensitive data exposure, malicious third-party skills, and memory poisoning.

This isn't a reason to slow down. It's a reason to build responsibly.

When we talk about AWS as the backbone for production agents, we're talking about infrastructure designed with security, compliance, and governance built in from day one. Because the future of agentic AI depends on systems we can trust - not just systems that are clever.

An invitation to women in tech 💜

Personally, I want to extend a special invitation to all girls, ladies, women, and moms in tech to join us.

Everyone is empowered to build - and your voice represents so much in this community. Your perspectives strengthen and shape the future of AI.

We need diverse voices at the table, not as an afterthought, but as architects of what comes next. The decisions we make today about how agents are built, deployed, and governed will shape how millions of people experience AI tomorrow.

That's why representation matters. That's why your presence matters.

Let's bring this to your city

If you'd like to see an OpenClaw × AWS event in your location, let me know in the comments or reach out directly. Let's make it happen. 🙂

The builder community is global, and the conversations we're having in Singapore deserve to happen everywhere. Whether you're in Jakarta, Tokyo, Sydney, or beyond - if there's energy and curiosity in your city, let's connect.

See you there! 🔥

Looking forward to building the future of agentic AI - together. 🙏
