Today I had the pleasure of hosting a wonderful group of women from Singlife for the third session of our AI ML-MLOPS Accelerator training. 💡 Moments like these remind me why diversity of perspective isn't just a nice-to-have - it's critical for effective AI.

Why Diversity in AI Is Essential

As we all know, the perspectives we bring to AI shape the systems we build. Prioritizing diversity isn't about checking a box - it's about building technology that works for everyone.

I believe that empowering women and unlocking their potential in AI will help us overcome one of the biggest challenges of this technology: ensuring it serves all of humanity, not just a narrow slice of it.

Professional Development That Matters

It's great to see businesses in Singapore providing professional development opportunities for women interested in AI. These aren't token gestures - they're real investments in building the diverse technical leadership we need.

The energy and curiosity in the room today was inspiring. When we create space for different voices, we create better AI.

Gratitude for the Team 🙏

None of this happens without incredible colleagues who share the vision. I want to express my gratitude to:

  • 🔹 Indrajit Ghosalkar and Benjamin Fheng for co-leading the training with expertise and care
  • 🔹 Sid Bhandari for his advocacy and commitment to this work
  • 🔹 Samuel Chu, Romil Sharma, Sam Simopoulos, Yean Ping Yar, Priscilla Chong, Michelle Toh, Andrew Mulligan, and Joel H. Garcia for the leadership guidance and support that makes these opportunities possible

When we invest in people, we invest in better AI. When we prioritize diverse perspectives, we build technology that truly serves. More to come. ✨
