Break the Ceiling, Touch the Sky

I had the honor of joining trailblazing leaders at the 10th WORLD EDITION of BREAK THE CEILING TOUCH THE SKY® Summit. Dressed in business best with a touch of pink 👚 - a symbol of solidarity and empowerment - we gathered to advance gender equity and celebrate women in leadership. Celebrating 10 years of House of Rose Professional, this event brought together a global community committed to meaningful change.

The Power of Connection

Each story, each conversation reaffirmed something I've seen time and again: the impact of connecting with like-minded champions.

When we gather - not just to network, but to truly listen and share - we create the conditions for real progress. This summit reminded me that change doesn't happen in isolation. It happens when we show up for one another.

What Landed for Me

Three themes emerged that I'm still reflecting on:

• 🔹 Personal stories drive change - Hearing leaders share their unique journeys reminded us all of the power of vulnerability and resilience. When we bring our whole selves to the table, we give others permission to do the same.
• 🔹 DEI is a shared responsibility - With male leaders representing AWS, it's clear that meaningful change requires commitment from everyone, including male allies. Gender equity isn't a women's issue - it's a leadership issue.
• 🔹 Celebrating champions matters - Congratulations to Nicola Gerber and Sherrie Xiaoyu HUANG for being named BTC's Most Inspiring Women, and to Vikram Rao, recognized as a Global Male Champion for Gender Equity. Recognition like this amplifies the work and inspires the next generation.

Beyond the Numbers

Closing the gender gap in tech means addressing challenges beyond the numbers. It's about breaking down biases and creating supportive environments where women can thrive and lead.

The data matters - representation matters - but so does the daily work of building cultures where everyone feels they belong. Where mentorship is intentional. Where sponsorship opens doors. Where difference is seen as strength.

Together, We Rise

Let's continue to break the ceiling and touch the sky. Together, we're making strides toward a more inclusive future - one conversation, one commitment, one champion at a time. 🌏
