Hundreds of Builders, One Room, Real Agentic AI
Reflections from facilitating hands-on workshops at AWS Summit Singapore 2026

What an incredible day at AWS Summit Singapore 2026. 🚀 I had the privilege of facilitating hands-on workshops - guiding hundreds of builders through designing and deploying their own agentic AI workflows on AWS. The best part? Seeing the room full of laptops open, participants building in real time, asking sharp questions, and helping each other along the way.
The energy around agentic AI is undeniable
Builders in the region aren't just curious anymore. They're ready to ship.
I've facilitated workshops before, but there was something different about today. The questions weren't theoretical - they were about production constraints, integration patterns, and how to get agentic workflows into the hands of end users quickly.
That shift from exploration to execution? That's the signal that agentic AI is crossing the chasm.
Key moments from the day
A few things landed hard for me: 💡
🔹 Hundreds of participants coding along - not passively watching slides, but building agentic workflows in real time, debugging together, and shipping working prototypes by the end of the session.
🔹 Real-time problem solving and peer collaboration - the room became a living lab. When someone hit a snag, the person next to them jumped in. That's the builder community at its best.
🔹 The spark when concepts click and come to life - there's a moment in every workshop when abstraction becomes concrete. Today, I saw it happen dozens of times. That's the moment that keeps me doing this work.
Grateful for the builders who showed up ready
I'm grateful for every participant who came with laptops charged and minds open, ready to build. And for the incredible AWS team that made this possible - the logistics, the support, the shared belief that hands-on learning is how we move the industry forward. 🙏
Agentic AI is still early, but days like today remind me that the future isn't built in keynotes. It's built in rooms full of builders, one workflow at a time.
Let's keep building. 🛠️
